Planning Submittals

The Town of Northlake Development Services Department offers online electronic submittals for planning! To submit any civil plans or development applications, please use this link (If you are a contractor click on contractor, if you are not a contractor click on Community Member)  : Planning Submittals

Planning submittal types:

Associated Fees

The Town of Northlake accepts planning submittal types concurrently. This includes commercial building permit applications, which can be submitted simultaneously with other planning documents. However, it's important to note that commercial building permits will not receive final approval until the official planning process has been completed and approved.

For plats, the approval process is as follows:

    • Plats that meet all Town standards are approved by staff.
    • If a variance is required, the plat will typically need approval from both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Town Council.

This streamlined approach allows for more efficient processing of development applications while ensuring compliance with all applicable ordinances and adopted codes of the Town.
