The Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 176 stipulates that local governmental entities shall provide access to the statements and questionnaires filed under this chapter on the website maintained by the entity.
Vendors and local government officers are required to file Form CIQ or CIS, respectively, when a conflict exists. All forms must be filed with the Town Secretary's Office within seven (7) days of becoming aware of the conflict.
Local government officials/officers are required to file the Conflicts Disclosure Statement Form (CIS). The completed form must be notarized and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or emailed to the Town Secretary's Office.
Vendors are required to file the Conflict of Interest Questionnaire Form (CIQ). The completed form may be mailed, hand-delivered, or emailed to the Town Secretary's Office. Questions about compliance should be directed to each vendor’s legal counsel.
