The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will host a virtual public meeting for a feasibility study on proposed improvements to Farm-to-Market 407 (FM 407) from FM 156 to FM 1830 in Denton County.

The public meeting presentation, maps, drawings and other materials for the feasibility study will be available from Thursday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 14 at

Members of the public may call (469) 333-0439 to provide verbal testimony immediately following the virtual public meeting presentation on Thursday, July 30 at 6 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 14 at 11:59 p.m. 

Comments can be submitted online, via email, phone, or mailed to the TxDOT Dallas District office at 4777 East US 80, Mesquite, TX 75150 to the attention of Stephen Endres, P.E. All comments must be submitted or postmarked on or before Aug. 14, 2020 to be included in the public record.

If you do not have internet access, you may call (214) 320-4469 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to ask questions about the project and access project materials at any time during the project development process.

The purpose of the feasibility study is to analyze potential roadway options to improve FM 407 within the study limits including improving the existing alignment or utilizing new alignments. Alignment options could require additional right of way (ROW) to accommodate the project. The anticipated project cost is $204 million.
