[ARCHIVED] Ordinance No. 18-0628 - Fireworks in Northlake

Under Ordinance No. 18-0628 fireworks are permitted within Northlake town limits under the following restrictions:

  • The use or discharge of fireworks must be performed on July 4th or December 31st between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on those dates;
  • Restricted fireworks (as defined by Ordinance 18-0628 as those items classified under 49 C.F.R. sec. 173.100(r)(2) (10-1-86 edition), as “skyrockets with sticks” and “missiles with fins") may not be used or discharged;
  •  All debris resulting from the use of fireworks must be removed by the property owner by 12:00 p.m. the day following the use or detonation;
  • No burn ban has been ordered by the town, the mayor, the county commissioner’s court, the Argyle volunteer fire district fire chief or the county fire marshal.

Violation of restrictions set forth in Ordinance No. 18-0628 may be penalized according to Section 6.03.002 of the Town of Northlake’s Code of Ordinances, available on the Town of Northlake’s website via the following link: https://z2codes.franklinlegal.net/franklin/Z2Browser2.html?showset=northlakeset
