[ARCHIVED] No Letter of Verification Required for Travel in Northlake

We want to ensure everyone is accurately informed about the Shelter-in-Place order. Northlake Police Officers are not and will not stop persons driving in our community SOLELY to ask for a letter or documentation supporting their need to be out of their residence.

We realize that some people still have to work, go to the grocery store, visit the doctor, grab some food to go, or get some fresh air while practicing six-foot social distancing. However, we ask that everyone do their part by limiting your travel, abiding by the order, and obeying all traffic laws.

Our officers will continue to serve the Northlake community, patrol our neighborhoods and businesses, and answer calls. We’re here to keep our community and first responders’ safe! By working together, we can succeed in making it through these challenging times. If you have any questions about the Shelter-in-Place order, please contact us at 940-648-4804 or go to to view the order.
