Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Northlake, Texas will conduct a public hearing at its regular meeting on August 22, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, Northlake Town Hall, 1500 Commons Circle, Ste. 300, Northlake, Texas for the purpose of receiving public comments on the creation of a reinvestment zone pursuant to Texas Tax Code, Chapter 312, the Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act, as amended, which will enable the Town to abate taxes pursuant to the Town’s Incentives Policy on property within the proposed Town of Northlake Reinvestment Zone No. 04 and its benefits to the town and to property located on approximately 260 acres generally located north of Sam Lee Lane, east of Interstate 35W and south of Denton Creek in Northlake, Texas in the proposed zone. The Zone consists of approximately 260 acres of land in the Town of Northlake. A more particular legal description of the boundaries of the proposed Zone is on file at the Town Secretary’s Office for public inspection. This hearing is pursuant to a resolution authorized by the Northlake Town Council on August 1, 2019 and Texas Statute. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and present their views at the hearing.
