Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held before the Northlake Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Northlake Town Hall, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas, and before the Northlake Town Council on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at a meeting to begin at 5:30 pm at Northlake Town Hall, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas. The purpose of the hearings is to hear comments for or against amendments to the Pecan Square Mixed-Use Planned Development (MPD) Ordinances No. 17-0413C & 17-0413E, to amend Exhibit F and Exhibit G by revising the landscaping, setback, and fencing details for the frontage of the development along Cleveland-Gibbs Road and FM 407. The proposed changes are limited to the landscaping, setback, and fencing requirements along FM 407 and Cleveland-Gibbs Road. The purpose of the FM 407 changes is to address proposed TxDOT right-of-way takings and to provide an alternative for portions of the frontage adjacent to commercial use. The purpose of the Cleveland-Gibbs Road changes is to provide an alternative for portions of the frontage adjacent to a commercial use.
